EPF for Contract Labourers engaged by the Contractors –PMRPY Scheme – Implementation

All the contractors of TANGEDCO & TANTRANSCO should
register their establishment under the Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Protsahan Yojana (PMRPY) scheme with the Employees Provident Fund Organisation
The provisions of EPF Employers contribution of 13.36% of the
labour portion to the labour charges additionally in all the relevant works estimates shall not be included from 01.01.2019.
The provision to claim/ reimburse the employer contribution of
EPF remitted by the contractors shall not be included for the works awarded after 01.01.2019.
Amendments for withdrawal of provisions already made to be
issued by the competent authorities for the works already awarded and proposed to be executed on or after 01.01.2019.
