Delegation of powers to Regional CE’s and SE’s / EDCs and decentralization for Procurement of certain distribution materials hitherto dealt by Material Management wing/Headquarters – Approval accorded

Approval is hereby accorded for the following:

To procure materials required for regular O&M works, schemes, etc., by the respective levels mentioned below within their powers already delegated by adopting the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Act and Rules and its amendments:

The CMD/TANGEDCO proceedings No.36, dt.27.04.17 and other subsequent instructions issued based on the above proceedings stands cancelled. Hence the procurement of materials shall be carried out by the Regional CE’s and SE’s / EDC and MM wing/Headquarters
