The Tamilnadu Electricity supply code regulation 8(1) provides that, the format of the meter cards containing all basic information to be made available to the consumer shall be got approved by the commission. It is the responsibility of the Licensee to ensure that the details in the respective meter cards are entered without omission.
The format for the white meter card to be adopted by TANGEDCO as contemplated in regulation 8(1) of TNERC Supply code had been approved by the commission on 23.2.2011. The approved format for white meter card had already been communicated to all Chief Engineers / Superintending Engineers vide Lr.No.CFC/R/ /FC/Rev/D.No./12, dated 10.8.2012
